The Sparrow, located in Germantown in Nashville, is a renovated historic building housing four fully furnished residences. With a focus on contemporary interior style, the landscape was designed to be minimal and complement the character of the building. Large trees at the front of the property were preserved, giving the building an established feel. Evergreen hedges at the foundation soften the façade and flowering shrubs provide seasonal interest. At the rear of the building, new canopy and flowering trees separate the balconies from the parking area and give a treehouse-like experience to the residences. Permeable paving in the parking lot helps to manage stormwater onsite.
