Located in Franklin, TN, Southall is a 300-acre retreat center characterized by rustic southern comfort. As an initial phase in the greater master plan, The Rambling hosts gatherings complemented by meals crafted by the chefs of Southall. Attendees enjoy these meals at long wooden farmhouse-style tables that create a sense of community with fellow guests. Repurposed sails drape over metal wire strung between steel posts to create airy shade during the day, and globe lights create an ethereal atmosphere at night. Firepits and contemporary Adirondack chairs offer relaxed gathering space. Planters surround the steel posts and custom wooden square planters bring trees into the space helping to define lush rooms within the greater space. Sited adjacent to the greenhouses and quadrant gardens, guests can stroll through the vegetables and herbs or rest on a bench below the cherry trees. State-of-the-art greenhouses grow local food year-round, and the quadrant garden is home to perennial fruits and vegetables used by the chefs at Southall.
