Extending from Noble Park, Laurel House Plaza provides public outdoor gathering space in an area that previously lacked places for pause and vegetation. Laurel House Plaza enhances the retailer Design Within Reach located within Laurel House and offers an outdoor furniture display area that doubles as a public gathering space. Planters punctuate a grand stair and terrace that span the building, bringing lush plantings to a previously barren sidewalk and softening the building façade.  Structural soil creates a long-term growth medium for the roots of the new street trees and supports the concrete above.
