Located on the greater campus of Jack Daniel Distillery , the project adds greater capacity to the tasting and sells facilities while creating both communal space and native habitats. The landscape design frames the new tasting building wit new plantings, a formal courtyard, and improves circulation to the adjacent portions of the exiting campus. From the courtyard, an overlook of the wetland meadow can be observed throughout the year, changing its appearance based upon the season and the volume of stormwater it retains. The meadow provides not only vital habitat for pollinators, and other keystone species, but creates a means to address stormwater in an ecologically responsible way.
