Greenwood Village

MIXED USE, ADAPTIVE REUSE, + URBAN REDEVELOPMENT
East Nashville, TN | 2016 start | 3.27 acres

Located in East Nashville, a former church will be recycled and remade into a flexible office space and centerpiece of a new mixed-use neighborhood development. One primary project goal is to create a place for the local community to gather, engage, and grow. Small scale retail suites and a full service restaurant/cafe will occupy the former church’s assembly room, and twelve single family detached homes will be clustered on the perimeter of the site. Roughly 1.5 acres will be perpetually protected as permanent public open space. The landscape is designed to be a series of highly flexible spaces that can accommodate both large and small events and/or activities. During non-event times, these spaces are designed to meet the needs of the everyday user, including places for a quiet lunch, active/passive play, employee and community gatherings, and retail display.
