Located in East Nashville, Woodland Assembly is a renovation and connection of existing buildings for commercial and public space. The project seeks to readdress the street to human scale, removing frontage parking to create outdoor dinning and pedestrian space. These public spaces are connected, and covered, by the overhead roof canopy that extends across the site. The landscape design links protected pedestrian zones which are staged at multiple levels addressing the projects position on significant grade change. Custom planters located throughout the site provide means shading, performance deck, and seating for cultural or dinning experiences.
